Time Flies!

Wow! Where has the time gone! I swear the thought of posting again has crossed my mind about everyother day but it's a matter of finding the RIGHT time to sit down and actually get it accomplished! So far, 2008 has been going alright. Its been better than "fine" but not quite "great". I regret not having many pictures to post from the past 2 1/2 months of this year yet, but don't worry I'll find a few :) So what have we been up to? RACECARS RACECARS...work and more RACECARS! Of course we've been busy with our own but Devon has also put in quite a few hours into a couple local front wheel drive cars. Aside from that, it's pretty much the norm! We've had only two extraordinary circumstances. We purchased a car last November and after just about 90 days with no title, we decided to give the car back and undo the deal. So I am currently on the hunt for new wheels! The second circumstance is that Daddy Doug is currently going through Chemo treatments for testicular cancer. They removed the tumors and his prognosis looks promising. We've spent a lot of time helping mom and Daddy Doug out with lifting this or that, having supper and playing just a few games of Sorry with them! I really enjoy the time we spend with them because we know that our company is genuinely appreciated. So I guess you could say, we're on our way to another busy year! Just so you know... we are still collecting "Cans for Conception" donations and we'll be taking a load up to TJN very shortly!
Enjoy the pics!

The three trophies and the BIG ONE!

Love, the McMartins!

So there you have it... some pictures from our year. It may not seem like much of a variety, but this is our life, racing & family.

I don't know how often I'll post new blogs, but I'd like to try and keep this updated throughout the year with what's going on in our lives.
